The following oils are available to include in the formulation of your lip balm or skin cream

Many of our oils are certified organic.
The oils all have different properties and are used to treat various skin and medical conditions.

Several of the oils also have antioxidant, antifungal, antiviral, antibacterial properties which help extend the shelf life of skin creams.
Several of the oils also have sun protection factor properties.

Below is a table providing information on these oils, their properties and their uses:

Eucalypt anti-inflamatory, decongestant, anti-microbial pleasant fresh flavour and cool feel
Tea Tree anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, antiseptic mainly as antibacterial to increase shelf life
Sweet Almond carrier oil has a fine texture, is easily absorbed, and helps to leave the skin soft and satiny smooth yet it is non-greasy
Castor preservative, mould inhibitor skin disorders such as psorasis and ezcema, burns, sunburns, cuts, and abrasions
Rose Geranium scent pleasant rose flower scent, harmonises and pampers skin and senses
Lavendar calming, relieves stress & anxiety, healing aromatherapy, headaches, migranes, relieve nervous tension, mild anxiety, stress and insomnia
Lemongrass scent increases skin elasticity, pleasant lemony scent
Citronella scent fresh, powerful lemon scent
Sanctuary calming, stress relief pure essential oils of patchouli, ylang ylang, sweet orange and geranium
Evening Primrose relief of the symptoms of Atopic Eczema

helps maintain healthy skin. Can be beneficial in the relief of eczema & dry skin conditions.
A rich source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an important omega-6 fatty
acid that can only be produced by the body in small amounts. Foods rich
in GLA include flax, pumpkin and sunflower seeds. Some people may not
get enough GLA in their diet, therefore supplementation may be
beneficial. Low levels of GLA have been found in women with premenstrual
syndrome (PMS), and in adults and children with atopic eczema
(dermatitis).
